It will need the typical and necessary cleaning, calibration, restoration and possible repair that all vintage tape decks require. It does have 50hz/60hz switching and multiple voltage switching. It has the vintage Japanese Akai design, craftsmanship, attention to detail and potential performance. It is quite heavy having 3 motors and built when Akai was at the top of their game. It has a few small nicks, nothing serious at all, well cared for.
